LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘BEST SONG EVER’ TO OPEN TEEN CHOICE AWARDS!

So, we all know that One Direction will be performing at this year’s Teen Choice Awards, exciting news.

BUT, even more exciting news… they’re actually going to open the event!

AND, here comes the most exciting news of all… they will kick off the ceremony with their first EVER live performance of ‘Best Song Ever’!

How much excitement can you handle directioners? Just how much can you handle?!!!

Yep, it’s true, the Teen Choice’s official Twitter account tweeted: “The first @onedirection ‘Best Song Ever’ Performance will open the 2013 Teen Choice Awards!”

However, that’s not STRICTLY true, because the boys actually performed their new single for the very first time last night, in San Jose.

A few hours ago, Niall Horan tweeted: “San Jose sick crowd! First time we ever did ‘best song ever’ tonight! What a reaction! Loved rockin out with the guitar on that!”

So, actually the Teen Choice Awards won’t be their first live performance. Sad times 

However, if you’re like us and weren’t lucky enough to be able to see the boys perform it in concert last night, then it’s still a pretty special event!

The Teen Choice awards kick off on Sunday 11th August. 

We’re MEGA excited to seem them perform it live on TV! Arghhhh! Be there or be… a fan of The Wanted. 

For now though, we will just have to watch this video of their performance last night and imagine 

what it was like.
