One Direction Appear In The 2014 Guinness World Records Book
If you think you’ve spent enough on the film, the book, the perfume and just about everything else One Direction related, prepare to spend a bit more.
Our boys are in the 2014 annual of the Guinness World Records!!
They are in it for the ‘Highest debut by a UK group on the US singles chart’.
WOW well done boys!!
It also says: “One Direction debuted at No.3 on the US singles chart on 20th October 2012 with ‘Live While We’re Young’, the highest debut by an all-or predominantly British group in the 55 year history of the Billboard Hot 100.”
Another little fact in the Guinness World Record book is that ‘Live While We’re Young’ sold 341,000 download copies in its first week!
Quick pass the tissues, we’re getting far too emotional over here!
It’s amazing how far the boys have come in such a short space of time.
We can’t wait for them to feature more in the book in future years.
The 2014 annual will be available to buy WORLDWIDE from the 12th September.
