After performing at the Grammy nominations concert on Wednesday, Ne-Yo was nominated for a potential fourth Grammy,

which marks his 13th career nomination. While the singer has had massive success since his breakout album in 2006, he revealed that his young children may exceed their father in the music industry one day.

"Absolutely," the "Let's Go" singer said when TheInsider.com's Keltie Colleen asked him if his kids are talented. "My son and my daughter, they both sing, they both dance--better than Dad, actually. They're really, really good; really into it."

As for the chance that his children will one day get to show their dad up in the music industry, Ne-Yo said that he's open to the idea of his children becoming music stars, but it would have to be in the right context.
"As long as it's done the right way," he said of supporting his kids' potential music careers in the future. "There's definitely a right way and wrong way to do the music industry. So, if it's done the right way, I'm all for it."
While Ne-Yo has ran circles around the Grammys for the past five years, there were a group of new artists including Fun, The Lumineers, and country star Hunter Hayes who were bewildered by their first Grammy nominations. Hayes, who was nominated for three awards, including Best New Artist, was exuberant to be nominated.

"[I'm] on cloud nine, like on top of the world," the 21-year-old musician said. "I feel so accomplished, you know what I mean? It feels amazing."
Now that the nominations are set in stone, the music artists eagerly anticipate the Grammy Awards ceremony, which will occur in Los Angeles on February 10, to be broadcast live at 8 p.m. on CBS.
